Injectable IUI- first monitoring appt? saif in sig.

When you did your injectable or combo IUI, what CD was your first monitoring appt? And did you go back for another before trigger?

I am doing a combo stimulation cycle (clomid + follistim). I have done this before and went in on CD 11 and triggered that night. its been 2 years since then, and with this go round I am going in on CD 10 for my first monitoring appt. I know with clomid alone they dont have you go in until CD 14.

Also, I hope its okay that I post here. I feel sort of lost in limbo between SAIF and IF because I have had success, but am still struggling and doing IF treatments. I wish you ladies on this board all the best with your cycles/treatments and my heart is with you.

Whenever I use injectibles, my first monitoring appointment is day 8 (not including the day 3 appt).  Depending on what they see I would either go every day after that or every other day until trigger.  For clomid alone I went in on day 10 (I ovulate before day 14 so I'd never make it).  I think a lot depends on your RE's practice and your history.  Good Luck!!

I just got my instructions today (today was my baseline appt.) and I'm supposed to go back on CD 10 for my 2nd monitoring appt. My last cycle, I did go back in for one more monitoring appt. on CD 12 or 13 (can't remember) and had my IUI on CD 15. GL!

Baseline, then after 5 stim days, then every other day until trigger.

I have requested to come in earlier if I felt the monitoring date was not right. I know my body at this stage better than the doctor does. She can't remember when I usually O since there are so many patients. I O early so waiting until Cd12-14 would be too late.  I usually go in around Cd8-9. My IUIs have been CD 11 and CD 12.  It's not a set schedule for everyone.
