Nothing exciting. Sending her flowers, and a framed picture of DH, DD and I (as per her request). She's also getting a book from DD (called I Love You, Grandma).
DH and I are taking the family out to Olivia's for brunch and footing the bill. For 8 people, it probably won't be pretty, but it's my mom's favorite place.
This and getting flowers delivered. I was looking at this one instead, but decided that the message on the first one was nicer than "karma" - because she'd snarkily comment to me about how I have it coming to me with whatever kid I have.

i like that necklace! i may have to steal your idea.
i should probably get them all 'real' presents too, but it's looking kind of unlikely at this point. maybe if i get really antsy and start shopping (just for the walking) I'll find something, but I seriously doubt that I'll be good enough to mail them off. they can have their presents when they come visit.
The large Vera Bradley make-up bag, a Fitz and Floyd ceremic flower that has a candle that goes inside. Some chocolates, a caramel apple, and we are going to take her to lunch at the Oasis. She is flying in town next week to be with us for Mother's Day!!

My brother and I are going in on photography session of her whole family, her, my dad, my family and my brother's family. We will buy the prints for her too after wards.
It's their first mother's day as a grandmother so I got my mom a shirt that says Grandma (It's about time) and my MIL a shirt that says the Grandmother (looks like the Godfather shirts) and then I got them both photobooks of DD that I made on Shutterfly. I think that you can still get all those things on time, but it depends on how sappy your mom is I guess.
Re: what are you getting your mom for mother's day?
I got my mom this tote:

And I got it embroidered to say, "Grandma's Sunshine."
"The House We Built."
A journey of building the dream.
We got DH's mom a necklace she wanted.

I think you win for best gift!
Probably a card? I am so out of it but I know I need to get on the ball soon!
That is an awesome gift. I gave mine a grandson 2 years ago. That was her only gift that year.
