Just updated my previous BMB!! :)

I saw that a few ladies on here updated the woman on the BMB they were on before their loss, so I decided to do it also. 

Let me tell you I am so happy I did.  The wonderful comments and congrats are great!!  I was not so sure how they would respond but am very pleased how happy they all are for me.  They are all getting sooo close to their EDD's and I am so happy for them and for all of us!!

  They really do like hearing these good news stories.  It's always so sad to have to say goodbye to someone on a BMB, so I am sure that appreciate knowing that you have some good news.

I wouldn't update my previous BMB's as I feel this is a bit AW'ish. I didn't spend a lot of time on either of them (losses at 9w and 6w) so it's not like I was around long enough to form bonds and to expect that they would remember me.

I may go back and lurk to see how they are doing, but I myself would never post an update on myself just because. Seems Very AW'ish to me.

I do kinda see where that kind of update can be a little AWish, but I just think it's AWesome and wish that more people gave updates like that, because those kinds of stories do exist and I think it's great that they can be celebrated with the original group of ladies a PGALer got acquainted with (at least in my case).  In other words, some AW posts are purely a good thing and that's all, kwim?

I've said it before and I will say it again, I hope that the if the November mommas that had to leave the BMB stick around on the bump and get pregnant again while the board is still active, that they post a happy update there.  Even if I only got to know them for a few weeks, that kind of news is worth sharing and celebrating.

This would probably make a good clicky poll because I know it can certainly go both ways, now I am curious to know what the general consensus is!

I actually have kept in contact with 2 of the ladies on that board.  Also a few of them rememberd me and ALL of them were happy that I updated them and asked me to come back and update again.  AW-ish YES, but don't we all AW at some point??

You came on to the June board to tell us all how YOU were doing.. Never once did you ask us how we were doing. Never once did you say anything really about any of us other then yourself. How is that not AWish?

I dont go to the October 2010 or January 2011 board and say "Im pregnant now just wanted you all to know"  -  It just seems VERY AW'ish.

I get it and I'm glad that they were supportive of you.  It seems like Nov had a big string of lost pregnancies right in a row and my heart breaks for all of those girls.  We have all had our moments to post total AW-ish moments on that board, and I hope and pray that someday they get that opportunity to come back and have their moment.  I think every woman (that wants to be a mom) should be able to shout it from the rooftops when she has a successful pregnancy and not feel guilty about it.
