Back from the hospital!

Everything went well! Thanks for all the well wishes. It was pretty tough pre and post op. DS was very cranky and scared. He cried so much after he woke up from surgery that the nurse had to give him morphine. It took 2 nurses and me to hold him down and to keep him from pulling all his vital checking equipment out before morphine kicks in. But once they removed all the needles, he's fine and barely noticed his wound until he sees himself in the mirror.

This is quite an experience and I wish we don't have to do this again any time soon.
