Help us narrow down our boy names!

I'm over 38 weeks, and we still seem to be going in circles when it comes to picking a baby name! I'm a little more relaxed about it than DH because I just feel like when our little baby boy is born we'll know the right name, but DH is stressing about this more than anything else!

Since I'm not giving any hints to family, I'd love to get some outside opinions on our list. The middle name is pretty much decided--it's my maternal grandmother's maiden name that has been lost b/c my mom was an only child, and it's a tradition in my family to use family surnames as middle names (so if you generally hate that, it's not really up for negotiation). Here's where we are so far...

Middle name/last name: O'Connell F___ (last name is Irish).

We both like 2 names: Brady and Ian

But both of us have other names we each like and don't necessarily agree on.

DH likes Liam (I think it's too popular & I know many people on here agree). I like Graham and Reid. We both like Ryan but we don't love it...

 Any opinions? It would be great to head off to the hospital with a narrowed down list of 2 names that we could pick from. Thanks in advance for the help!

I love Brady and Ian, but I give special preference to Ian. It's an underused and underappreciated name, and it's a great choice.

I also love Graham, but I think it'd be better to make a choice between the two names you guys agree on.

I love Graham, too!  I agree with PP, though-- stick to the names you both like.  Between Brady and Ian, I like Ian.

With the middle name of O'Connell I would stay away from blatant surnames such as Brady (All I think of is The Brady Bunch and Tom Brady with this name). I like Ian and I love Ryan.

You have a pretty good list of names!  I love Ian and Graham, but don't like Liam and Brady because of their popularity, as PPs said!

I love the name Ryan...we were going to name our boy that if this was a boy but its another girl.  I like Brady and Ian equally but don't love them....I know alot of people who have named their kids Brady so I guess I would think Ian is less common.

My favorites of your list are Liam (surprise! I don't mind the popularity) and Ryan.

Of your two front runners though, I prefer Brady.

Thanks to everyone for the opinions! I'm still not totally sure what we'll do, but it's interesting to see how much everyone likes Ian! We have about 2 weeks to figure it out, so hopefully when we meet him it will all fall into place. This was super helpful!
