Nothing much going on this week. Carpal Tunnel is getting better, B.H. are actually startng to hurt.

DH and I celebrated our first nice weekend day with a long walk at the state park near us. Also I love when asparagus and rhubarb comes in season- my favorite spring produce.
Update: please change me to team blue and I'm now doing a home birth!

We don't have anything we really celebrate. We open the windows to get the fresh air into the house.
Update: I'm still on bed rest for severe SPD (Symphysis Pubis Dysfunction) that is causing preterm labor. I am currently using a wheelchair for going out and use a walker around the house (I've been falling a couple of times so the physical therapist wants me using the walker). Dealing with the pain as it comes... taking one hour at a time. Talked to midwife about my birthing plans and it looks like it shouldn't be an issue. In fact they say people with severe SPD should avoid epidural anyway because of the risk of doing damage to your symphysis pubis while numb... so that just firmed my decision up! I won't be able to do the tradition position of delivery on my back. My midwife recommend delivering on my hands and knees... So it is really nice to see that my vision for a natural birth is still there!!

QOTW: We do a lot of random deep-cleaning (have a housekeeper for routine stuff), and spend as much time as possible outside--both with yard work/gardening and hiking/boating.
Updates: We had a great anatomy scan last week (still team green); baby's measuring a week ahead. Next doctor's appointment is on Tuesday. We start birth classes on Monday. Can't wait!

QOTW: Usually I ring it in a lot like I do the crisp cool air of fall, spending a lot of time on the deck, eating outside (especially now I have a screened in porch)! Pre-PG usually I would have enjoyed a fun fruity drink, but for now I'll enjoy my strawberry popsicles!

In the past two weeks I toured the birthing center and had my first MW appointment.

QOTW: Spring Cleaning and one LARGE garage sale to get rid of our "excess."
What park did you go to? When I was in Kent, I would go to Tiger Summit and flaming geyser a lot, but now we are out towards Mt. Rainier, so we have to find some new parks to go to.
We usually start spring by getting outside in the nice weather. My husband is out working on the yard all day today, but I'm stuck inside working.
QOTD: We spend a lot more time outside, at the park, cleaning... I love spring!

QOTD: We get a lot of rain during the spring, so we open the windows to smell and listen to the rain - it's my favorite part of spring!
QOTW: We hang our laundry out, have a bonfire (not necessarily at the same time) and start getting the garden ready.
Update: Group B Strep test is positive...boo.

This will be my 3rd labor, my first was a c-section due to twins and baby A being breech, my 2nd birth was an all natural VBAC and I am hoping and planning for another all natural VBAC
