It smells so much better than regular litter!  I hope the cats tolerate it!

did you get the clumpable kind (looks like saw dust) or did you get the pellets?

 

we loved that stuff when we had our kitty... if you have the pellets i recomend:

shake the box really well

scoop out any poo on the top

scooping out the "good stuff" off the top and put in separate container

dump all the sawdust on the bottom into the trash/compost

put the "good stuff" back in the box and top with fresh. 

 

since you can't scoop the peed on pellets since they turn into the mulchy looking stuff, i found this was the easiest method for us!

I didn't know there was any other kind of Feline Pine besides the pellet kind?  How does this stuff combat odors?  I've always kind of wondered if it would neutralize pee smells as well as the "standard" types.  I just think back to my experience with the 'yesterday's news' litter and wanting to die it smelled so bad.. lol.
