3TC newb intro

I think I'm going to dip my toe in this pool and see how the water is... I've been lurking/posting on TTC recently, and I want to say hello to you ladies.  I had an RE appt. today (where they bled me dry one vial at a time and had a intrauterine ultrasound) and I have an HSG scheduled for Thursday. We're already discussing a cycle of Clomid with FSH trigger... I'm knee deep in the reading materials provided regarding genetic testing, IUI, IVF, insurance coverages and copays and many other acronyms I don't understand, yet. Today was an overwhelming day. 

I'm 32, DH is 38.  We call northern California home, but we are currently "living" in Hong Kong (we are in Cali for RE tests).  This will be our 1st LO, and we are excited, intimidated, thrilled, and nervous!

welcome! I hope the HSG goes well. check out the tttc blog for more info- it's in lots of people's siggies and has lots of great info. I too am living outside the USA (we're in South Korea). I'm jealous of you living in Hong Kong- I visited there once and loved it!!! DH and I have talked about wanting to move there some day. I'm a teacher at an international school. anyway, GL!

Hello! I hope your testing goes well. I know how complicated it can be when living abroad. We're in Europe, but the IF things are really limiting on the freedom we once had. The only silver lining is having multiple countries to deal with, although it also means a lot of research. 

Hong Kong is a great place. How long have you lived there?

Thanks everyone! We have been in HK for two months, and we are most likely staying abroad for another 10 months. It's reassuring to hear that some of you are from outside the U.S.!
