It's almost official

We passed our first round of inspections/interviews and officially start our foster training. Luckily, the first few 'sessions' are on DVD with a workbook, which M left with us after our meeting today. I feel like we're finally on our way!

Any advice/words of wisdom at this point in the process?

    Be patient. The paperwork and red tape can seem insurmountable at times. Just know that the process does end and the reward is well worth it.
