Re: lets all share our proud moments of the last weeks...

  • I got a really great job at work that I started on 10/1. It's not a promotion (though I think it should be!) and I'm hoping I can make a real impact on the team. Big Smile
  • I followed my mommy gut and called to get my son evaluated for EI. Seriously, I'm proud of myself b/c I let others tell me that I was over reacting for so long, and now it seems as if I may not be.

  • I've been doing WW for 3 now, I've lost 13lbs! I can tell in my clothes, and I've had compliments-- one being DH, he treated me to a new pair of jeans. :) LOL
  • 1. I didn't kill my kids on Saturday when they were driving me up the wall....literally 4-5 hours on Saturday one ore more of them were crying.  It pushed me about to my edge.  So they spent a lot of time in the bedroom so I couldn't beat them to death.

    2. Mitch is finally talking...like a lot.  I know its not because of ME, but I just love to teach him new words and then to hear him say it...awww.

  • Eric took his first piano lesson :)

I gave an entire day to MYSELF and went to a posh spa with a good friend I hadn't seen in months

?I gave an entire day to DH so that he could go golfing with his buddies and hang out.?

     awe! How old is Mitch?

  • 16 months...and by talking a lot, I just mean, he probably says 20 different words (mama, dada, elmo, dora, bye bye, baba for milk, Audi, TayTay and a handful of other words...not genius level or anything!!!!) now..not like he's talking in sentences or anything!  I just taught him to say "sissy's" for his sisters, and it sooooo stinking cute.  I said "lets go get your sissy's" and he jumped up and started walking down the hall saying "sissy's!!! sissy's!!!!"
  • Oh how cute!!! So he hit his word explosion! :) Awesome!
  • I sat down with my DH yesterday and we hammered out a budget.  I am now taking full charge of the grocery shopping, and have challenged myself to spend less, and menu plan better to stick to the budget.

I'm really proud of myself because I HATE discussing money with DH-it normally will lead to a huge blowup, but this time, I kept my cool, and we did great.

  • When we were the store today, dd accidentally bumped into a woman and said "scuse me."  I was so proud that she is using manners as the age of 2!

  • * I got a good performance review at work

    * I got 5 loads of laundry done today

    * I didnt stress and cry when my pair of jeans didnt fit due to my growing baby belly. (Not fitting into my clothes first pregnancy was very traumatic for me and I cried every morning)

  • Being a packrat and keeping all my NKOTB gear from 1989 on finally paid off when I won an amazing contest. See siggy pic on right!!!!!!!
