Weird letter from RE

I'm currently planning for a couple of 'hail mary' IUIs for the summer (thank you madelyn for the term!)....while doing so, I'm looking into DE programs (not with my current RE due to cost).  My RE works alongside an IVF specialist at the same hospital - which whom was the doc who did my ER in January.  Our two embies didn't make it past four cells so it obviously didn't work.  The specialist said it was an egg quality issue and I should move on to DE.

Fast forward to current, while I'm working with my RE (same guy who worked alongside the IVF guy) - he thinks we have a slim chance with IUIs....but I have insurance to cover the IUIs.  But the point being, I have somewhat come to terms with the situation of having to use DE over the past few months - it was really, really devastating at the time.  The DE program I'm trying to schedule a consult with needs my records and I put in a request to the specialist who did my ER for my records.  I haven't been sent my records yet.....but I received a letter about two days after I called their office, from the doc, basically saying he was sorry things didn't work out the way we planned and that I shoudn't waste my time (didn't say exactly this) trying to achieve pregnancy w my OE and that I should move on to DE.

Gee thanks.  Three plus months later.  Just send me my damn records so I can get on with my life.  Ugh.  I mean, I know the office is super crazy busy but really?  Three months for a letter like this?  DH thinks I'm being crazy and it was nice of them/him to send the letter at all.  WTF  Okay, okay, vent over.

My office is so bad about follow up.  I hate this about them because we pay so much money for this stuff.  I don't really care how busy they are.  I want answers and attention when I need it.  I'd be pretty ticked to get a letter like that 3 months later.  I hope they send your records soon.

Ugh i am so sorry hun! My Re's office has horrible follow up as well.

RE 1 stalled forever in getting me my records which stalled my second opinion. I finally went to get them myself and refused to leave until they gave them to me! They are your records and you have a right to them! Insist!
