Basal Body Temps when Conception is Successful...

I've of course been charting my bbts for months now and was just wondering if any of you still saw or know if I will still see a slight dip in the luteal phase when a successful implantation occurs?  At around 7 days after I ovulated I saw a decline  a little below 98.0 for a couple days then today it went back up past 98.0.  Does this mean I am mostly likely not preg or am I overanalyzing? I was comparing last month's chart and it did the same thing with the dip in temperatur, so I took that to be discouraging news.  Anyway, I am interested in feedback regarding how your chart differered the month you conceived from the others.  I seriously think if I am not preggo this month I going to go insane.  SERIOUSLY -  THE WAITING GAME IS KILLING ME!!!!  Ugh, testing tomorrow as it will be 10 past ovulation - using the 6 day early test...   thanks for your input

Seeing as though many of us never have conceived you may have better responses to your answer on another board. 

It is possible to have a temp dip for implantation, but not everyone does. Unfortunately you have to go off of how long your LP is to know when to test.

I would post this on PAIF or SAIF.  They might have better answers for you  Good luck.

This is definitely a better question for the TTGP board. There's a very helpful link for new posters and the girls will be happy to answer your questions.

Implantation dips are possible, but not a definite. Even if you have one (which can only be confirmed with a BFP), there's not real way to know if it was implantation or a normal fluctuation that caused the dip.

 Your temps might or might not go up whether or not you are pregnant.  It's called a triphasic chart.  It is also inconclusive.

I do have a BFP chart from 18 months ago.  Ended in miscarriage, but you can see I do not have a clear implantation dip or triphasic, but my temps stayed at the high range.  Definitely ask on PAIF or the first trimester board.

Some women have a dip others don't. If your using Fertility Friend you can look at other people's charts that they have submitted and compair yours to thiers. GL!

But, FYI, questions about charting are probably more appropriate for the Trying to Get Pregnant board.  Most of us are past the point of charting.  But, no worries and good luck.
