I'm trying to find ideas for Macy's 3rd birthday party and she wants to have the hungry caterpillar for her theme. I thought someone from here had a party and posted some pics but I can't remember who.
Pretty sure MLvK did one but I think some others have too. There is a lady in Augusta that lives in Windmill Plantation that makes awesome cakes. She used to be very, very reasonably priced but her prices may have gone up a little now that she's up and running full force.
Thanks for the recommendation. The shirts are cute. I will have to get one when she gets back from her vacation. I'm assuming that is why all the shirts say they are sold.
I think she said she was on vacation for a week or two for her daughter's first birthday coming up. Those are too cute. I believe I saw the Very Hungry Caterpillar plates and things at Target recently. Also, it was a few weeks ago but I got a stuffed VHC at Kohl's. It was in the front of the store, part of the $5 for animal or book things that they always have.
My girlfriend makes great cakes and she did Hungry Catepillar theme. It is in the third row from the bottom on this link. Unfortunately, she is booked through 2011 (WOW), but it may provide some inspiration.

Her name is Laura Castillo Martinez and her fb page is Laura's Sweet Creations. She is amazing, for real. https://www.facebook.com/pages/Lauras-Sweet-Creations/140560608999?ref=ts#!/media/set/fbx/?set=a.143525208999.111527.140560608999
