Hi. I am just in here out of curiosity. Does anyone in here have experience with a pregnancy after a stillbirth? My first labor was completely natural. My second was induced with citotec because I didn't want to wait after his heart stopped beating, but I labored naturally other than that. I don't want to have to deal with high-risk doctors assuming I'll want interventions if I get pregnant again, and would love to one day do what I'd been planning last month and have a home birth. Has anyone here had a stillbirth, and still been able to be considered "low-risk" enough to have a midwife? Or do you know of how it would be handled, considering that we have no idea what led to the stillbirth? I'm not ttc, and won't be for a while. Just wondering if anyone knows more than I do. TIA
Re: After a loss...
Hi there,
firstly I am sorry for your loss. Secondly I'm in NZ so none of this may apply to you.
My friends first baby was a still birth (around 24 weeks).
She is currently 32 weeks pregnant with her second baby. She is working with a midwife 9although she plans to deliver at the hospital). She was monitored by the hospital to begin with to ensure her baby was developing normally, but once it became clear that baby was normal, she was discharged into the care of a midwife.
My friends still birth was in no related to the actual birth, and was because of abnormalities in the baby, so that might have a bearing.

i'm so sorry for your loss.
how far along were you?
were there any complications during the pg?
was your first pg uncomplicated? where did you deliver your first child, hosp, bc or home?
HI mama! While I do not have any words of wisdom about your situation. I imagine that you might be able to find a midwife and a physician to work together in your care. I did want to share this beautiful link for a healing CD called "I Love you Forever" for loss of baby/children. It has a CD choice for mom and a different one for dad. https://www.janetfieldhypnotherapy.com/store/pregbirthstore.php
Hypnobabies is also developing a cd/mp3 for a healing birth, which sounds like you might need. You might check out their site. www.hypnobabies.com
Hope you find the answers you are looking for. Peace to you and your family ((((HUGS))))
