DIY linen spray/febreeze? for baby clothes...

So I just washed all of the new baby clothes in CC and I don't know what happened...maybe there was something gross in the wash, but they all smell funny.  I don't know what it is.  We have coin laundry so i don't really want to wash them again.  Any ideas for a non-chemical, baby friendly linen spray or something that can help?  Or should I just wash them again?

I would wash them again ... in case whatever is causing the funky smell is something actually funky now on the clothing from the washer.  But, CC also makes a linen spray for future freshening up!

Hang them outside or spray with a mix of 2T baking soda mixed with 2 C. hot water.
