I was blessed with a BFP last week while doing my weekly pregnancy test.  I have irregular periods so I take a test every 1-2 weeks when it's been over a month.  My lmp is 2-14-11.  I know that I am not that far along, but the test was negative 4/10 and a light postive in the PM of 4/21.  A darker line 4/22, and then even darker this morning.  Yay!  I am still a little nervous.  I lost my last baby at 8-9 weeks in December.  We have decided not to tell anyone except a few close friends until we are out of the 1st 3 months.  But I just knew I was pregnant this time.  Hubby is excited.  I just hope everything works out, I don't know if I can watch him go through another loss.    Not sure when to call doctor and what to say about my LMP.  I imagine I should do it soon so they can do an ultrasound and figure out how far along I am.

Congrats and welcome! I would call your OB asap--theymay want to check your hcg and progesterone levels.i would tell them your LMP, but when you go in, tell your OB about when you got a negative test.

I agree with PP....call your OB, they will probably do betas/dating u/s.

Wow reading your situation it is a lot like mine right now.  I too have irregular periods and my last period was March and before that October.  I had labs done on April 5th so I could resume with the Provera meds and everything was negative for pregnancy.  I too took a test on 4/21PM and got a BFP!  I had b/w done to confirm pregnancy on 4/22 but didn't get to speak with my OB until today.  My 1st appointment is on May 3rd! 

I have no clue really how far along I am I don't have a LMP to go from nor do I have time of ovulation.  I just kinda estimated but I will know more hopefully next week!  I know I'm no more than 4 for sure!

Call your doctor now, just tell them when your LMP was, and that they're irregular.

congratulations!!! I am actually hopefully waiting on a BFP soon.. but am not sure it my body is still crazy or what... Anyways, I was wondering at what point did you start to feel "pregnant" before your BFP?
