Best Place for Girls' Night Out Concord/PH/WC?

If you could escape with girlfriends for an evening, and eat out in Concord/Pleasant Hill/Walnut Creek, without spending too too much money, where would you go? TIA!

I did a GNO at Elephant bar two weeks ago and it was great we did the happy hour. They also do a late happy hour from 9pm on, if you need something later. It was nice because they have good virgin drinks for those who are pg or BFing.

I visited Lift in WC for a GNI/friend's birthday last week and was very impressed. In fact, it was the best time I'd had out on the town in months. It was my second time going, but I think the first time we went it was a slower night.

The Happy Hour for a Thursday was quite the deal. We had a blast, lots of fun people watching, awesome bartenders (who were giving out free shots) and just really fun, laid back, party place. They serve food too, but we went to Cheesecake first to eat appetizers and then walked down to Lift. Perfect distance between the two. You can make a reservation for one of the couch areas, but both times we've gone no one ever shows up for the couches and the bartender lets us sit there.

Another GNI I had recently started at Jacks in PH and ended at Farringtons.

Jacks was fun, but really crowded. We barely got a seat in the bar. Farringtons is.... well..... klassy (yep classy with a k). Its an interesting place but I had a blast. Guess it depends on what kind of night you are looking for.

We definitely enjoy the small plates places, but they are all pretty pricey!  Nice drinks, wine, cheese...quieter atmosphere so we can chat (don't get to do that much with all the kids running around!).

Look into Nibblers - in PH.  Local/fresh/seasonal ingrediants, great wine menu/flights... nice atmosphere/service.  Not cheap... but not VaDaVi prices either!
