RLP anyone?

Thought I wasn't far enough along to have this? If you have experienced it, what does yours feel like? When did it start?

I've been feeling this achy, crampy, pressure off and on for the past couple of days...its kind of annoying! lol

Everything I have found on it points to RLP but the worrier in me has to ask! :) TIA!

Re: RLP anyone?

  • Mine's been sharp, and short lived. Like when I laugh/cough/sneeze/sit up weird. Something that puts strain on my lower abs, and it kinda spasms. Lasts a few seconds then stops. Not so much crampy pressure feeling. But I know some cramping can be normal.

  • Yea I have def. had some of the sharp pains as well. I thinks some of it is my head...I'm over-analyzing everything. Just wanted to make sure I wasn't the only one!

  • Hasn't RLP been named "lightning crotch"?  If I'm not losing my mind, then I definitely have it.  Shooting, electric pains especially when I sneeze or cough, but sometimes when I'm just laying there reading.

I still get cramping occasionally especially when I need to pee or if I haven't had enough water.  It's normal.  I was just at my OB, and she's not concerned.

I've definitely been having this over the last week or so. I had a bad one last night when I tried to flip over in bed. It was so sharp it took my breath away. Ouch!

  • I am 12+ weeks and have been getting it for 2 or 3 weeks now.  Sneezing and coughing are the worst, my entire abdomen cramps up for a few seconds .. it stops me in my tracks.

Other times I notice it in varying spots, but lately it's been at my belly button or the lower sides of my abdomen.  I just put pressure against it with my hand and breathe through it until it's gone.  Sometimes it's a few second, other times it's a minute or so.

  • I had one too this morning as I bent over quickly to tie my shoes, ouch! Good thing I was sitting down!

  • Yup! It feels like dull pressure sometimes and sharp outchies at other times. Doc said it's normal and can start any time and can also come and go. I wish mine would just go! I also get sharp pains sometimes when I stand up to fast...and then I walk like a duck for few secs or mins until it subsides.
