M/S Getting Worse?? (Vent)

I am green with envy (or maybe just green Ick!) toward all of the posts lately from you ladies whose morning sickness seems to be disappearing.

Mine is getting worse! WTF!? I've been dealing with constant nausea and vomiting for about 5 weeks now.  I have zofran for when things get bad and I can't keep anything down, but for the past 3 days I have been in a constant state nausea/queasiness that is the worst I've felt so far.  I probably ran to the toilet 17 times this weekend gagging and feeling like vom was imminent, then.....nothing.  I constantly feel like I am just about to puke, but it rarely comes up.  Soooo frustraing!! I thought this was point where things were supposed to get better, not worse.

Vent over.

  • With my last pregnancy, my MS peaked about weeks 10-12, and lasted until week 14 or so. I know what you mean, that feeling of thinking it should be getting better but it's only getting worse! I'm really sorry you've been so sick! I hope it gets better for you soon!

  • Mine is still in full force so you are not alone. I spoke with my doctor this morning and they said it's the sign of a healthy pg. have a nice day. I know it will get better. Have you tired b12 or is it B6? I can't remember but one is supposed to help.

Thanks for the suggestion Augustbride.  Unfortunately, B6 hasn't done jack sh!t for me.  Only Zofran seems to help, but even that doesn't take away the nausea/queasiness.

    TMI warning....

Ugh I am so sorry you are going through this! That is the absolute worst.  I've had a few scares and started to keep a bucket in the bathroom just in case this happens.  Fortunately, I've been able to turn around in time so far, but I have a feeling it is only a matter of time before this happens.

I hope all you ladies commiserating with me feel better soon!
