NBR: The Twilight Saga...

I know I'm a little "behind the times" but I just watched all three of these movies w/in the last 2 days (I know, I should've read the books, and I wanted to but never can bring myself to actually "read.")

Question...When the heck is the next one coming out?  Really?  I don't get to see if Bella changes by the 3rd freakin movie? Gosh.

Nov 18th 2011 and then Nov 16 2012. I am a HUGE twihard and my lmp due date happens to be Nov 17th!! I told Dh I was going to that midnight showing!!! You should read the books! Even better than the movies and the 4th is very involved!

They are breaking the 4th book (and final book) into 2 movies.  I think the next one comes out at the end of 2011.

Don't worry, despite the fact that I used to be a huge literary snob and judged people who read Harry Potter, I too got sucked into the Twilight saga. I've read the books multiple times, and I went with my SIL to see the midnight premier of Eclipse the same night I took my second round of Misoprostol to induce a miscarriage. Luckily it didn't work so I did not bleed in the theater, but yeah, that's how crazy I am

It's just so addicting! I have also read the books several times and they never get old for me. Sorry you have that memory associated...hugs

It's okay, it totally took my mind off it, and it was just one thing in a string of many upsetting dates last summer so it doesn't stand out as particulary bad one, from finding out to D&C was about a month. It's just that looking back I'm a little disturbed that I thought that was a good idea to be out at the movies when that was going on, and kind of speaks to how much of a twi-hard I am

I can understand the dedication. My DH doesn't think I can be trusted going to the premiere because if labor starts he is pretty sure I will finish the movie first!

DH and I went to a afternoon showing the day it came out when I was going through my miscarriage. It was technically in between my betas so it wasn't confirmed yet but I knew what was going on. I agree that it helped take my mind off of things. Also helped that DH was with me and that he suggested that we go.

Hey labor can take hours, you might as well be entertained for a few of them!

I am hoping I will be able to get someone to babysit what will then be our 1 month old baby so I can sneak out to the premier.

I am due a few weeks before it premires, so I'll most likely be missing it in the theaters - but LOs worth it

Jules is right - the release for Breaking Dawn part 1 is Nov 18th 2011 and then Part 2 will be released in Nov 16 2012.

However, based on rumors you probably wont get to see if Bella changes until the second movie. If they break the book up the way that we're all hoping, then most of the "action" wont happen until Nov 2012.

Definitely read the books!!! I watched the first movie first as well and that's what got me hooked on the series. I went out and bought all of the books the next day, then proceeded to read them all within 72 hours - they are sooooooo addicting!

My thoughts exactly1  I'm debating re-reading the books for a third time.  I think this thread just solidified it and I'll be charging my Nook so I can start reading at lunch.

HAHA!   That is too funny, but I bet you would be happier with seeing a later showing!  I too am a Twilight lover....and I have to remind myself not to use names like Jasper or Carlisle for baby names (though I know two adults with those names).  I think I will skip the premiere, but I am due on the 9th of November, so there is plenty of time to decide.  I don't want to wait in line with a bunch of 16 yr olds by myself, I highly doubt if DH will go with me...

We have a cool theater in town that had baby day for early showings one day a week.  I took month old DS#2 with me to see New Moon.  I'm hoping I can do the same with this LO!

Also, I agree with this.  I only got started on Twilight this year, and so I read a book, then watched the movie, read the next book, watched the next movie, and so on.  The books are soo good, you will finish them in no time flat!
