Im with So Miami OB/GYN. They are a big group and they are great! There are 7 doctors and every single is wonderful!! Dr. Vizoso, Hirsh,Horst,Guinot,Paez!
Myself and a few other ladies go to/went to Personal Physicians and saw Dr. Kellogg. I love him, he's funny, laid back and made me feel super comfortable. He's also very personable, always remembered my husband's name and my DS's name once we found out it was a boy. He was there for my delivery and I could not have been happier. I adora the nurse @ his office too, her name is Pat.
I also saw Dr. Bestard @ that office while Dr. K was out of town and I have nothing but wonderful things to say about him too!
Thier office is @ Baptist and their # is 305.595.4070
Dr. Maria Lopez - she is amazing and delivers at Baptist Hospital. I am not 100% sure but she may not be taking any new OB patients anymore. You can call her office at 305-412-1967 to find out.
(Just to clarify, this is not Dr. Maria Lopez Beecham - this Ob also works at Baptist, but some bumpies have their own reviews on her).
BFP #3: 01/28/12, EDD: 09/23/12, MMC (BO), D&C 2/16/12 at 6.5 wks
BFP #4: 05/23/12, EDD: 01/31/12, Early MC at 5 wks
RPL Workup: + LPD (7DPO Prog = 7.8, Endometrial Bx = out of phase)
Elevated Alpha 2-glycoprotein IgA and antiphosphatidylserine IgM -->
Hematologist said not to worry and no need for treatment!
She delivered both my sons, she only goes to Baptist Hospital, she is a sweetheart.
Dr. Hecker covers Dr. Lopez whenever she's on vacation! Had the pleasure in meeting Dr. Hecker back in August; she didn't deliver Baby E but she discharged me on the last day.

If this is the Dr. Maria Lopez with the RED hair I saw her once. I only ever had 1 appointment with her (my insurance changed after I met with her and she wasn't on the new one) but she was very nice.
Dr. Carlos G Pena is great. He was the doctor who admitted me into the hospital with my 1st m/c and he's the one who delivered my son 2 weeks ago. He's got a memory like an elephant (he stills tells the story of admitting me, in the corner room... almost 2 years ago!)
He delivers at Baptist, and his office is in the Medical Arts building.
ETA: I just realized you said female... whoops!
I never held you, but I always loved you.
Baby Squirt- September 2009
Baby Turtle- May 2010
Baby Surprise- August 2011
Hey there- I noticed that there were a couple of negative comments about Dr. Lopez-Beecham with references to past forum topics, but I couldn't find those older posts. I do not go to Dr. Lopez-Beecham, but I do go to one of the partners in her office, so there is a chance Dr. Lopze-Beecham would deliver the baby. I am trying to find out what the issues are with her. Any information would be appreciated.
vnero - she was just very rude to me. after getting preganant I found a new OB cause I was not going back to her.
I was one that always wanted a female OB. It was one thing I was super admant about. After seeing her, I totally changed my mind and found a male doctor.
