So we just found out that my husband is going to be living out of town when I am due, and my parents are in MA. I will call both him and them when I go into labor- should take my parents at least 4 hrs to get here, and husband will have to take the next available flight. Of course I have lots of friends, but they all have their own lives too.
Therefore I really need a doula that I can call to be there with me, I don't want to be all alone! Help! Any doula recs?!
Re: Doula recommendations for NYC? Help!
Im so sorry to hear that you will be going through this -
I found these recommendations you can always research them

Manhattan and Brooklyn
Other than those two Im not too sure. I would do a general search for doulas in nyc to see what many others are saying.
Check out clearbirth.com for great doulas in the area. I'm in love with my doula - Annette Perel.
Good luck!
