NBR: My toaster oven is smarter than me

We don't have a microwave at our house. We use a toaster over for heating up things, which I love. I've been on a frozen pizza kick lately, but the last couple times I made a pizza, it didn't get crispy. I thought maybe it was the brand or something, so I switched it up. Same issue. FINALLY, I figured out that the toaster oven got switched from "oven/bake" to "broiler." Seriously??? How did I not figure this out?!?

Now back to enjoying my crispy pizza for breakfast.

This made me LOL. I can relate. Every morning (that I'm there) at work I make the pot of coffee for everyone. I let it perculate while I go and do my opening procedures (work at a bank). Well one morning the next lady to come in says "Hey E. Not feeling like yourself this morning?" So I said "What do you mean? I made your coffee for you."

She says "Yeah, you set everything up. But in order for it to work the coffee pot probably needs to be plugged in." Apparently I UNplugged the coffee pot that morning before making it. I'm a dummy!
