I know of one girl who did this and it said she was having a girl, and sure enough, it was a girl. But obviously it's just as accurate as if I were to pick an option out of a hat.  What are your thoughts?!  Will you do it (just for fun!))? Or will you just wait until 20 weeks (or not at all, if that's your cup of tea!)

As someone else pointed out a while ago (I think on the 1st Tri board), if they were a reliable test, then every doctor's office would offer this test. I've heard of some ladies going in for their NT scan and being able to find out the sex of their baby. For me, I'll just wait. I kind of like not knowing for a while. It gives me time to get comfy with having either sex.

Research local ultrasound places and spend your money there at 16 weeks for gender determination instead!  The Intelligender stick is about as accurate as the Chinese gender chart - half of people will tell you it was right and half wrong... gee, maybe that's because our chances are 50/50!   If you live in a bigger city, it should be super easy to find ultrasound places... google "gender determination" or "3d ultrasounds"...those are the places that can do it for you, for generally pretty cheap! I live in Chicago, and its $39.

My BIL and his wife did one a few weeks ago, it said boy. We will see in a few weeks if it was right (but I totally think it's just a waste)

I did one last week and it said boy...so did the chinese gender chart...i really only did it for fun and obviously know that its not very accurate

I saw a different one on Amazon yesterday by a company called 'Gender Maker'....and the reviews make it seem to be pretty accurate. I'm assuming it's a PH balance type test....you can google the 'cabbage gender test' and do something similar at home for much cheaper. I'm thinking of doing both, but only just for fun and it will make an interesting post in my 'baby blog'

In any case, these tests should not be taken seriously.....don't believe a thing until your doc give the confirmation. )

I love how they market it as being "fun" -- what's fun about peeing on things?  I hated taking pregnancy tests because it involved peeing on something and ultimately getting some of it on my hands, ew. 

Maybe "fun" for R. Kelly, but not for me, thanks!
