DH's godfather died on Sunday after a long battle with cancer, I was raked over the coals for not visiting him often enough....he has been in a coma for two weeks... Then while attending his funeral our geyser burst flooded our entire house causing our wooden staircase to cave in... Then as if this was not enough my tumble dryer broke and DH invited 27 guests for lunch tomorrow....and it's raining and has been for eight days now. Can I pleeeease get a break form this *** now...oh an DD and I have tonsillitis aswell

I'm so sorry for your DH's godfather.

I've been having house issues as well, so I know how frustrating/aggravating/tiresome all that is. But why did your H invite so many people over if you don't even have a staircase... ?

I hope you and your DD feel better soon!
