A friend of mine just had a baby. She was trying to have a vaginal birth, but during the pushing process the baby had a bowel movement while still inside so the dr said they were going to have to do an emergency c section. Her mom told another friend of ours that she had a vaginal c section? What the heck is that? I thought there was a vaginal birth and a c section...but not both! I am confused.
Re: What is a vaginal c section?
I think it's a really serious episiotomy. Doesn't sound fun at all. Ugh.

"she had described an episiotomy and horrible tearing - what the teacher said they unofficially call a 'vaginal C-section'."
