HAI!! How are all you ladies and your LO's doing?
I've been totally MIA for a few days (except for a P&R on Monday); it's been hectic in the RW household. I go back to work this week, so I've been trying to mentally prepare for that. Our SUV went on the fritz, so we had to take it into the shop, so with DH taking our other car to work, I was without for a few days (that sucked BIGTIME; I don't know how one car families survive)!
I'm also studying like mad for an exam on May 4th; it's the last one I have to write for a professional designation I'm working towards. I've been at this designation for 2 years, so it will feel SO GOOD when it's done.
I'm also starting to worry about DH going away for business next week; I'll be on my own with Logan for 5 days, which isn't much for a lot of ladies, but I haven't been on my own with him without help for that long. Ever. Plus, I'll be working, so it's going to be a crazy week.
On another note, Logan is awesome! he's almost 8 months now, and is pulling himself up on everything; the bottom stair, his music table, the couch, his crib; you name it, he climbs it. It's hilarious and tiring for mom!!
Anyhoo...how are YOU doing??
Re: ohmygosh...it's been a long few days!
Yeah...it is that way now. I'm busy outside of Logan, and with a totally mobile baby, when he's awake, I'm on him like white on rice.
Love your new siggy pic; I can't believe how big he's getting!!
I know! I can already feel my twitch diminishing now that I'm back. I was seriously going through withdrawal.
Welcome back!
I can't imagine going back to work and having DH leave for 5 days at the same time. Okay, I can't imagine DH leaving for 5 days period. I'm sure everything will be fine though.
My DS just learned how to army crawl...fast! I'm not sure I'm ready for him to be pulling himself up on everything yet.
Wow, so crazy! Good luck on your exam.
And I bet it'll actually be nice to be at work a little next week with DH gone. It'll give you a little break. I think All Baby, All the Time, All Alone would do anyone in. Oh, and one thing you might try: stay for dinner with your mom or MIL after they keep Logan. It'll give you an extra hour or two with extra hands. You could even offer to bring over takeout!
Good to have you back. I was just thinking today that you hadn't posted and I figured you were busy at work.
Great idea! Thanks!
Oh man, sounds like you've been busy! You're going back to work already? How come? we get a year off.
That's great Logan is pulling himself up. Maybe not for you. lol.. Ethan is such a lazy baby he's just started rolling, and even then doens't like being on his tummy so he doesn't roll much. Some kid's just don't.. My nephew was the same. He never crawled, he went straight to walking.
We've moved down here now. we moved in on saturday. It's a brand new place but we don't like the colour so we've been painting. I sometimes wonder 'omg what did we get ourselves into" but our colours look far better then what they painted it.
We should get together one day. It may be a week or two, I want to get this place up and feeling like a home rather then a shiit storm of boxes and paint crap everywhere.. But i'll get in touch soon and we'll arrange to meet up!
