News: GL to all our ladies in the 2ww! Congrats to luvdv8 on the birth of Elizabeth Grace!
Updates: Last week, I was waiting for my big u/s. Mrsmikey was feeling movement again and waiting for her big u/s and quad screen results. ijack's baby is moving a ton and they've started work on the nursery, but she's anxious about hitting the 23 week mark. kamcfarlane has less than three weeks left til the arrival of her little girl. njkaren is feeling movement and has started bi-weekly appts. Clotho! was scheduled for her C-section last week, but of course her DS is already here, so she was having some bittersweet feelings. mrsfriend is also on to bi-weekly appts, but is at least feeling more prepared than last time. luvdv8 had baby Elizabeth Grace just 2 days before her due date at 8lb 2oz - unfortunately they had to stay at the hospital an extra day due to jaundice.

Re: Pregnant (& TTC) After Preemie Check-in!
I'm doing well, just rolling along! I found out I passed my GTT, and we had our big u/s on Monday. It was GREAT. Baby was moving around a lot (though didn't give too many good spine shots). It's another girl and we're both just in love. Right now we like the name Annabelle, but we're having a hard time coming up with middle names, so any suggestions are welcome (DD1 is Eleanor Marie). We're trying to keep the news quiet until we go back home for a visit with our parents, and we're going to have pink cakes made with white frosting and announce that way. At least, as long as DH can keep it quiet that's the plan!
Need help with high fat food ideas? Chunky Monkey
Love the name that you are considering. Do you have any family names that you like baby#2 to have? I love the idea of the pink cakes.
*hugs* that's really scary. hang in there, babe.
lol thanks I would love to do Annabelle Joy....this baby was conceived on Christmas, so I think it's appropriate, plus my mom's name is Joyce. But, DH isn't a huge fan. What's your Annabelle's mn?
Hang in there ijack! T&P's for you.
Shannon, I already congraulated you, but I'll do it again! Congrats on your second girl. How awesome to give DD a sister. Keep cookin' that babe, and great news on passing the GTT!
As for me...I'm swimming along. I'll be 31 weeks on Friday and I can't believe how fast the time is going. 6 more shots to go...and a prayer that this baby does not arrive anytime in the next 7 weeks. I'll have to post a bump pic next week...if I can remember and find time to take one. Geez, it's hard the second time around.
T&P!!!!
My update: I am 31w4d and doing well. My last dr appt went well. I've been having a lot of pressure but he wasn't concerned. I feel okay overall - taking care of Andrew is getting more challenging and I have some minor discomforts, but I'm pregnant and that's what matters.
oh, not much going on over here, i'm just FULL TERM!!!
t minus 12 days to the big debut!
Renee, which was my given Middle Name.
Hang in there ijack! I know that must have been so scary, glad everything looks ok though!
Congrats Shannon on the baby girl!
I had my appt yesterday. It's a long story. Bottom line is there was a mix up with scheduling, and the OB wasn't prepared to do the u/s. But he did it anyway since we were expecting it and DH took time off work to be there (he works an hour away). But the OB was pretty much a jerk through the whole thing, did everything so fast we could barely tell what was going on. And only took one peep between the legs and they were shut so he just moved on. So we left assuming everything was ok b/c the OB said so, and not knowing the gender, or feeling like we actually got to "see" the baby.
I called my nurse today and explained that we felt jipped, and she immediately scheduled us for another u/s with a tech that would have nothing else to do but look at our baby And it's free! I just have to wait a couple more weeks.
He did measure my cervix and it looks good, 4.4 cm I think? It was over 4 I know. And I started my p17 shots yesterday too. It didn't hurt, but my butt's sore today!
