N/T Scan today

Good Morning Ladies,

I have my N/T scan scheduled for 2:30pm. I'm excited to see LO but I'm such a nervous nelly about it.

How many of you have had this done? What should I expect?

I had this done yesterday.  Mine was 30 minutes of pushing on my pelvis and seeing my jelly bean.  They measured the area at the back of neck for fluid, checked for the nasal bone, then measured the baby, looked for the stomach, heart, checked the skull, arms, hands, legs and feet.  Super cool, actually.  There could have been other things, but I was really fascinated by my jelly bean.

 They also pricked my finger and took a bit of blood for the blood tests.  I was so nervous I couldn't sleep on Monday night, but it was actually really awesome and reassuring for me and my husband.

Thanks for the info! I get mine done on Friday so I was pretty nervous about it too.

Anyone know if they give you pics from the u/s to take with you?
