question about mini co-sleeper fitting against bed

if you have the side down and have the mini co-sleeper attached to your bed can you tell me where the level of the pad the baby sleeps on should be vs the top of your mattress?  Should they be totally level with each other or should the co-sleeper be a bit higher so baby doesn't roll into the side of your mattress etc?  Trying to figure out if I need to get leg extenders.

Re: question about mini co-sleeper fitting against bed

  • they should be level, the co-sleeper shouldn't be higher because then the baby could roll out onto the bed (once he/she is able to roll). This is what it said in my manual. It also said you don't need the extenders unless you do not have a standard height bed.
