silly GM question - Do GM soakers snap in?

For some reason I can't find this info anywhere (although I didn't look that hard and decided to post here). For the OS, do the soakers snap in? Do soakers have to snap in? Are they more or less functional if they don't snap in?

Yes they snap in.

I've found that doublers that I lay in can bunch up funny, so I would guess that lay in soakers would do the same thing.

Agreed. I've tried a lay in soaker before and it wouldn't stay in place.
