I don't even know what the subject of this should be and maybe I'm alone in thinking this but honestly there are some REALLY ugly clothes/pattern/tutorial blogs out there.
I know that on at least one occasion I know that there's something that I think is particularly ugly and someone on my FB feed will post about how cute it is. And I just want to yak. One of them happens to be a very popular blogger - but honestly most of the patterns she mixes I think are just gross. And her latest pattern is really hideous. Yet so many people are fawning over it. blech.

Yeah, me too. And are you talking about a clothes pattern (like to sew a dress) or some other type of pattern?
I have tons of craft/sewing blogs in my blog reader and some of them are just silly. "Tutorials" for stuff that no one needs instructions to make.
Kelly - for sure! In fact, there are a few on my pinterest account that I saved but didn't comment on because what I *really* wanted to say was "it's not vintage: it's rusty old crap that no one wants...even if you "refurbished" it". (The one I saw yesterday was an old, rusty 6 muffin tin that they were re-using as a shadow box. Ummm, really? Sorry but it just looks bad...and how would you display it? The garbage can would have been my choice....) lol
So I took a peek.
My taste would not be those fabrics or color/combo (tunic specifically). When I first spied that yellow thing I thought it was a craft apron made of garbage/scraps. LOL
The cut of it, with the right fabric would be adorable for summer with some capri length leggings and a sassy wedge.
From a quick peak, it looks like most of her stuff has exposed seams (which just look messy to me unless used really sparingly) and uneven hems. It's certainly a style, but it doesn't seem like one that people need help to make for themselves. Whatever. I'm not a blogger, but I am a sewer and I guess there are other wanna be sewers out there who need tips, right? On even basic stuff like how to iron a hem so you can sew it straight?
