I have a 2 yr. old and am due in 2 weeks with baby #2. I need 1 bag for both kids and I like that PPB has lots of compartments ( I hate looking through bags for stuff) and has the option of being a back pack. I love the PPB but they are pricey and I'm wondering if you have one if it's worth the extra money. I'm thinking of asking DH for one for Mother's Day.
Re: Petunia Pickle Bottom bag anyone?
Our family blog
I have one and like it a lot. The velcro is really strong and loud, but it's not that big of a deal to me. And I usually just put my wallet, phone and keys in the side pockets on the outside. I love that I can use it as a backpack.
As for price, I got it as a gift, so I can't really tell you if it's "worth it" or not. I'm pretty cheap, so I probably wouldn't have bought it for myself. I think my mom actually found it for me at Marshall's, so you might look there or at a secondhand store if you want to get it cheaper.
Honestly, I only used mine for a few weeks and ended up buying a Kate Spade one. But I am one of those people who gets annoyed at a lot of pockets and stuff...I tend to just dump everything in one main compartment. PPB had too many pockets for me, and I also prefer an open top instead of a flap-over top.
If you are interested, I'd be happy to sell you mine. It is in pretty much perfect condition. Looks like this one: https://www.amazon.com/Petunia-Pickle-Bottom-Orchid-Backpack/dp/B00124PIFK
