So the other night we were having BBQ Hamburgers and onion rings for dinner in the back yard. Cooper is a VERY picky eater but will manage to eat a hamburger, PB&J, chicken nuggets, mac n cheese...etc
He looks over at my plate and says.."Mommy, Can I have one of your chicken circles?"
I gladly gave him a "chicken circle" and let him eat the whole thing.....so now we can add onion rings to his list of foods he will eat!

Lexi : she had a daddy daughter day on sunday, and he took her to the mall. She informed him the next time they go shopping she needs to get new clothes, like the cute ones in the windows, you know dad, like Capris?
Orion: We had a mommy and son day on sunday. We went to the Oakland zoo for a birthday, and he spent a good chunk of time chatting it up with the birthday boy, and just being totally cute. During our lunch picnic break Orion decided he was going to race across the grass, back and forth, he went at least 20 times. Maybe track will be his thing.

DS has been ridiculously cute lately. Silly as all get out. I love the words he uses. I was hugging him this morning and rocking him in my lap, and he said, "stop wobbling mommy." LOL. Wobbling.
He talks in his sleep and has lately been very upset that someone is messing with his trains in his sleep. I'm sure it's me, and I'm giving him nightmares, but I can't help but laugh when at 2 am he says, "nooo, stop taking my train apart." Poor bubby!
G is just going crazy with new stuff. Yesterday he started saying "ah didid" roughly translating to "I did it" and today he's saying "gee yooo" for "thank you." He's also cruising around everything and has started standing without holding on to something. When DH comes home and G hears the keys in the lock he squeals and starts yelling "hi dada!" with this huge grin on his face. So adorable. And the big one... he now sleeps 10-12 hours straight every night!
Alex is totally in to making "lists". (um, I'm a list-maker so he's all about it). He gets a pencil and paper and sits at a table and asks a grown up to spell stuff for him, and he actually WRITES the list out- and we can actually READ the words! He's made lists of people who love him, people he wants at his birthday party, and this morning he made me a shopping list for my Easter groceries. Super cute, I am so proud of him and how smart he is.
And Simon, well, he's just a famous baby. He was born to be a star.
Audrey made me breakfast this weekend (eggs, bacon, toast) Yummy :-) And then cleaned the kitchen afterward! I felt positively spoiled!
And Thomas cracks me up every day - the first thing he does in the morning is give me a kiss :-) And he wants to help with dishes too! (Now if only I could get dad to get on board :-P)
We recently got a new app for the iPad that is about Math. It is amazing to see DD adding, subtracting, and learning greater than and less than. She doesn't always get the answer right but she is learning and we are doing it together. She loves anything with numbers and letters so simple math and reading are what she is into right now.

I love reading about your kids. I literally went "aw" to every one on these posts (I should be not lazy and write my own but I wanted to say that first!)
H now walks over to the kitchen table, points up at the laptop and says, Papa, Papa, Papa...meaning that he wants to Skype with my Dad. It melts my heart.
Ok, and a gross one....I acidentally slipped a couple weeks ago and said to him, "did you go kaka?" instead of using our preferred word, poop. So, last night he's toddling around and I get a wiff...and I ask...H, do you need a diaper change?...he responds loud and clear, KAKA! Oh boy.My DH started cracking up and now kaka is on par with his favorite words.
I just read the AW about poop and now I have to say that the other super funny thing DS is doing is talking about his pretend boy all the time. "Pretend boy is in the bathroom so I can't use it." Pretend boy needs a bath. LOL. DS is pretend boy's mama.
And when DS has to poop, he asks for privacy in the bathroom. It's the best!
Re: Kiddo Latest Aw
This is more of a "Cooper Funny" than an AW.

Today Alycia picked up her High School Graduation Cap and Gown. So proud of her and soooo bittersweet.
And just got the notice last night about Gabby's Kindergarten Graduation next month.
So in one month, 2 of my kids will be graduating.
