Gymboree swimsuit w/"built in diaper cover"?

I can not for the life of me figure this out.  This is probably a really dumb question but what in the heck am I supposed to put on my DD under this swimsuit with the "built in diaper cover"?

    My mom bought us one of these, and in my experience, the diaper cover was no where near snug enough to actually hold poop if it needed to. So while we use the suit, DD still wears her Bummis swim diaper under it.

    This is exactly what I was thinking too.  I couldn't figure out what Gymboree was going for with these suits.  Thanks.
