What baby item do you own that you have found to be completely useless?
For us it is the car bottle warmer (used it once, it takes FOREVER to warm and is totally a waste).
Also the Bumbo seat. Some babies love them, mine could care less about it. She has used it maybe a handful of times and usually is over it in a matter of minutes.
How about you?
Re: Most Useless Baby Item?
Swaddle wraps. We used receiving blankets until he no longer wanted to be swaddled at all. I think I returned like 4 of them.
I am adding one more. The post above reminded me of it.
Mesh feeders. A.) they are too big for his mouth. B.) they are really freakin' gross to clean.
Baby bath robes. Really? I still have to wipe him off with a towel and if I put him in that his legs are going to freeze.
Besides, we give him a bath right before bedtime and it's not like he's going to be walking around in them (we got 2, one 3-6 and one 6-9).

Wipe warmer.
Also, so far we have done perfectly fine without a highchair. Shocking, I know.
A wipes warmer: We got it as a gift and only used it once because it made the wipes tare super easy.
Pack & Play with bassinet and changing pod: She never used the bassinet, hardly used the changing pod and she hates being in the pack and play.
Crib mobile: She did not care for it at all.
wipe warmer
bottle warmer...she'll take em cold!!
swaddle wraps we used them a handful of times the large recieving blankets were better...good thing I never paid full price for them!
but we love our bumbo but didn't start really using it until 5 months or so...our LO is a 13.5 lbs 6 month old!
Bottle warmer - We've never used it. He's a room-temperature sort of baby.
Swaddle wraps - He slept better without them.
Diaper cream - Have never used it.
Changing table. We now just use it as a dresser and puit the changing mattress away. We only really used it a few times, it's much easier to change her on the bed.
Wipes warmer is a waste, she could care less.
I don't have a bumbo and didn't miss it.
Swaddle Me blanket- its more of an effort to put it on then just wrapping in a regular receiving blanket.
Baby shoes are pointless.
We didn't get a wipe warmer or bottle warmer because I had heard they were sort of useless.
For me it was a bunch of BF stuff because I didn't BF. And, shoes. Because she has yet to wear any of her (very cute) shoes.
He hates his swing.
We used the bumbo maybe two times.
It's funny how some stuff is so useful to one person and totally not to others. We use our changing pad and diaper pail for every single diaper change. I have never not changed him on it. And to me, it's so easy.
Bottle sterilizer. I think I used it to sterilize the bottles once. (I did, however, boil the bottles and nips before using them the first time.) Do others use bottle sterilizers regularly?
Diaper stacker.
Gripe water.
Nail clippers. (I file.)
Bumbo - she never really liked it and I thought the Boppy was much more useful in propping her up
changing table attachment on the pack n play - never used it
Bouncer/infant seat - used it once, DD hated it. We still use the RNP daily though.

Never in my arms, but always in my heart.
Baby bathrobes... I have 4, all still with tags!
Baby towels... They are too small and flimsy... Thank God my mother bought white fluffy ones that we only use for LO.
This is mine too! Vivienne cries whenever I put clothing on her so I'm not going to put the stupid robe on her just to dry her and then take it back off and put new clothes back on. And you're right, her legs stick out of it so its hard to cover/dry them once she's in the robe. Stupid, stupid baby item.
I'm with everyone else who didn't use the bumbo. We got it at a gift and I thought it'd be good but DS hates it.
And baby hooded baby towels. They're too thin to absorb much water. I think we used them like once or twice when DS was less than 5lbs.
This. 100%.
Bouncy seat and the swing - she hated them both. We got lucky with the baby hooded towels we got - they are all very soft and absorbant and most of them are pretty large.
The absolute MOST useless thing I was given was a "Colic massage pad" for baby. It was this oval shaped firm pillow with a massager inside that worked for approximately 15 seconds before it broke completely. I only took it out to try to see how it worked and if DD would like it. Never got to find out, but I'm pretty sure she wouldn't have cared. It seemed like something you would find at TJ Maxx for like $10 and keep on hand to give as a baby gift. Luckily, DD was not a colicky baby so it didn't matter.
