We need a midwife

My husband and I are interested in possibly having a home birth.  We are looking for a midwife in the Putnam County/Westchester County area that could assist in a home birth.  I'm having trouble finding one.  If anyone knows of one, please let us know.  Thanks! 

I also would love to hear anyone's experiences with home births if they would like to share
