Foiled again.

Today is the second day in a row that I've decided to get some "me" time by taking a nice, relaxing bath. Last night, no sooner did I get in the tub and then my doorbell rang and it was my uncle stopping over to ask a question. DH was here and answered it so I didn't get out right away but it's kind of hard to relax when you know you have a guest sitting in the next room. Fast forward to today and I just start drawing a bath when my mom calls to give me a head's up that my other uncle called looking for my # because he needs a favor. So, of course, he calls and asks if he can stop over (he lives across the street) and I ask him to give me about 30 minutes. Of course, again, I can't relax so I get out after like 10 minutes and am now just sitting here waiting for him. It's a good thing that I love my family.

    I'm jealous you can get in and out of your tub. Ours is a deep garden tub and I can't get in and out with out the help of DH.

    i have my nightly 'relax bath' every night after dinner. FI will sit in the bathroom with me and keep me company, and then help me out of the bath when i'm done. [:

    during the day, it's shower time - as i am on my own.

    hate that for you! Sleep (or, rather NO sleep) is an issue for me right now, so I'm taking baths way too late for anyone to call.  Hope you get a good one in soon!

    Sorry! I did mention to DH that at some point I will have to stop taking baths without him home in case I can't get out. Thankfully, I'm not there yet. We also have a handicap bar in our tub so that helps.

     Ditto! I am thinking of taking a bath tomorrow but last time I tried the water did not cover my bump.
