Flutters? Or air bubles in the placenta?

Since Saturday, I have felt this flutters in my lower left abdominen area (low bikini area) It would come for a few minutes and then leave for severals hours. I could feel it internally more in certain position but could feel it stand up as well.

It was not gas! No where near gas! And it kind-of tickled. Has anyone experienced this, yet?

  • Not sure what it was, but it was definitely not the baby moving- you won't feel that for several more months.

  • You normally won't feel baby moving until after 16 weeks or so.
  • It could be gas.  I feel gas like that all of the time.

  • probably gas or a muscle twitch

  • Is this your first baby? If not, you probably did feel flutters, no matter what other people think this is supposed to happen. Every woman is different.

Agreed. I felt my second child at 12 weeks. Everyone is different and the whole "You can't feel baby move until *this* week" does not apply for everyone.

  • I read that you can feel flutters when the baby's heart starts beating. Honestly, I've been hoping to them myself since my first u/s isn't for another week and I'm worried.

Feeling flutters is a good thing! Smile
