Snoring!!

I've been snoring like a freight train for the past few weeks and my nose feels constantly congested.  I've read about this, but haven't really known anyone else with this symptom.  I have been using the Vicks humidifier every night, but it's still pretty bad and DH is complaining Sad  Is anyone else experiencing this?  Any tips?  BTW, I'm not overweight and I don't have allergies or sleep apnea.

Re: Snoring!!

  • No, but I've been experiencing DH snoring more than usual and I'm ready to buy my own freaking bed...or I might strangle him some night.

  • I haven't been snoring (that I know of) but my nose is so nasty... I blow my nose in the morning and it's all crusted blood!  I know I should break out the humidifier, but I really don't feel like pulling it out from the back of the closet.  I had no idea that this was a pregnancy symptom!

  • I've been really congested and snoring a lot.  MH knows better than to complain though - he snores like crazy.  My sister said it happened to her also.

  • I'm not snoring per se, but I have noticed that I am breathing heavier partially due to being more congested lately.  MH has been having to sleep in the guest bedroom because he says I have been keeping him awake.  (This coming from the one who really snores!!)  Keep yourself propped up at night with pillows.  Beyond the humidifier, there may not be much you can do right now.  I'd talk to your doctor if it's a major concern...but I think you'll find it's common.
