I just made your taco soup but I didn't read it correctly and I didn't cook the onions with the meat, I just threw them in the pot to cook with the soup.  Will that work or will they still be raw?

    I'm sure that will be fine... I believe the soup cooks for 30-40 minutes anyway, right? That's probably plenty of time to cook the onions.

    Hmm, I think I might make that tonight too, I go to Bible study on Monday nights so I need something I can leave warming for Ricky and the kids. Oh and I may or may not have gotten distracted watching Narnia with my kids and just gotten back to view the meal planning thread. You are making me laugh so hard with this sausage "recipe " haha! OK, a thing of Cheddar sausage sliced and halved with a large can of baked beans... throw that in a pot and heat up for 15-20 minutes, serve over white rice.
