Brendan...Love the name! and it has gone way down on the social security charts for popularity which is good...there are a lot of Connors...plus i just think Brendan is way cuter...Connor sounds to old to me.
I really really like the name Brendan. I think that it goes well with your last name and It's my husband's name.
However, I will mention that my husband often has problems with people mispronoucing or misspelling his first name (and I've heard this from other Brendans). Certain cities that have larger populations that idenify as Irish "get" the name Brendan. But where we live now, "Brandon" seems to have taken over. People hear or see Brendan, but it somehow transforms to Brandon in their heads.

This totally. Mhy DH's name is also Brendan. He gets Brandon a lot. But I love the name regardless.

Re: Brendan or Connor?
I'll love you forever,
I'll like you for always,
As long as I'm living my baby you'll be.

Brendan. Much less common and I think it sounds better with your last name.

Connor
I love Brendan, but then my DS # 1 is named that. Connor is on my short list for DS # 2.
Both sound good with your LN.
