gotta love when SO has a few drinks!

Last night we went out with our "best friend couple" for dinner then back to our place for dessert and some card games.  SO has been really good about not drinking during this pregnancy. I always tell him it doesn't bother me, but I guess it is his way of being supportive. Well, last night he got into the margaritas!  I could tell the minute he was feelin good. I started to get little winks and smiles from him. He got all "Lovey eyed". As soon as our friends leave, he grabs his Ipod, puts on a slow song pulls me up for a dance in the living room. He was going on and on about how excited he is for the baby, rubbing the bump being so sweet. He actually got teared up talking about it. Not sure if he will remember it this morning BUT I know it will stay with me forever. Even if he was drunk!

I love when DH talks to the baby .. this morning LO actually rolled over to his voice, right underneath DH's chin & kept poking him .. I teared up!

I know its just around the corner. Yeah KiKi was our due date twin, now its us, lol.

Oh how cute! They say that a drunk man is the most sincere. So, he meant it, regardless if he will remember tomorrow or not ;-)

That's an awesome story that I'm sure you will never forget. Sometimes the men in our lives forget that it's nice to hear/see them being for a lack of a better term "mushy and emotional". Just so long as it's not all the time!! LOL 

 As for the due date club,  I was supposed to be 5/26 (two days ahead of you guys)... we'll see how it goes at the doctor today. Baby dropped at 34 weeks, that can't be a good thing LOL

I hear they can drop a month early but 6 weeks?!! I haven't even had an internal yet!

McWhittaker, I responded on another thread to you about you dropping so soon. You make me nervous girl! Please, please keep us informed about what the dr had to say today. And keep that LO cooking!!!

I love this post! it sounds like my SO on Saturday also. He too has tried not to drink while we wait for LO to arrive. We had tickets to a vertical wine tasting that we attend annually. We buy them a year in advance. SO is a food scientist (or foood nerd as I like to call him) so he has spent the last few years educating me He hates to be wasteful so long story short he felt the need to drink all of my wine as well as his. I of course was the designated driver He was so sweet and loving all the way home. Telling me how excited he is as well as how scared he is. (this LO is his first) He told me how much he loves me and wants to take care of us. I had to laugh at him because he was so worried about me driving and he doesn't want me to drive until after the baby is born. LOL! as if he was in any shape to drive home.
