Question about Peg Perego Vela

If anyone has one - do you think your baby is comfortable with their back leaning against the strap?  It seems odd to me how their back would have that plastic piece pushing right into the middle of their back.  Maybe I'm mistaken?  I really want this stroller after lots of shopping, but that's my only holdout.  TIA

    I don't think its a big deal, but my son still hasn't been in it much without the car seat too.  If anything I was planning on putting a neck support in anyway and that will cover that piece.  (anything soft would work just fine) I really love the stroller.  My only complaint is that it needs a bigger cup holder, but that's no biggie to buy.  :)
