Cloth Diapering

Help me to keep going.

I need encouragement, gals (and guys?)!

My daughter poops about 4-5 times per day. And it's not ploppable, nor is it liquid. It is paste. And very sticky. And impossible to get off with a diaper sprayer, dunk n swish, or a plastic knife. I am struggling. I am tempted to purchase some 7th Generation dipes, sell off my stash, and be done with it.

Any encouraging words you can offer? I'm gonna scream if I see poop 1 more time. :)

TIA.

  • Have you thought about flushable liners?

I've been using the Grovia ones and I've been happy with them. They aren't as soft as I would like, but they definitely work well.

The Bumkins ones are super soft and I've heard good things about them.

Thanks to you both- I'll order a small pack of them both to see which we like best! Thanks again- this is the perfect solution. :)

  • I've been using the large Bummis liners.  You can't wash and reuse, but they are soft and have been good thus far.  DS has the not runny, not ploppable poop, too!

  • bummis liners are great. once lo starts eating finger foods the poop should firm up. at least thats how it worked for us. then it became ploppable (usually at least). good luck!

  • I just made some fleece liners out of remnants that I just throw away when poopy and wash if not.  Sam has had the peanut butter poops for months, and it was getting too nasty for me too lol

  • I like the Grovia liners. I used the bummis for a while but they would always stick to DS when wet and caused irritation. The Grovia end up being cheaper because the roll has 200 liners.

Good luck! These should help you.
