Making baby food: Butternut squash recipe.

I just got done making butternut squash for Luke! I have been putting this one off for a while and just got the recipe posted. So yummy! He loves it! Recipe

That sounds yummy.  When I make it I just cut the squash in half, removed the seeds, and placed it skin up in 1 inch of water in a baking dish and baked it for an hour.  DD loves it.  I love how much brighter and tastier homemade baby food is.

This is how I (my husband ::cough, cough::) make it too! She is a big fan of the butternut squash.

My boys love butternut squash.

But here's how lazy I am... I buy the pre cut, pre cleaned squash.

I went to the store yesterday to get butternut squash and they were out. I was planning on hitting whole foods tomorrow.

I totally did that.  It was quicker, but I felt like it wasn't as yummy.  I might be romanticizing the whole squash, though.
