did anyone intuitively know you were pregnant?

I got a call earlier this week from a good friend of mine, she lives out of state and I haven't seen her in a year.

We talk about once a month. I had told her in early Feb we were going to see an RE and that I had some issues. I hadn't told her how grim our odds were.

So she calls and I knew before I picked up the phone, that she knew.

She says, very happily..how ARE you and things like that. So I tell her. And she says "I know". I just felt like you were pregnant, so I thought I would call you.

When I told her that I really shouldn't be pregnant on my own..she was even more shocked. It was kind of cool.

So, did anyone guess you were pregnant? Or dream about it?

I knew that I was this time. I just knew. My daughter also told me that God told her that we were going to have another baby. God also told her that our second was going to be a girl, and was very sure and never wavered from that. At a sono at 25 weeks, she was right...and all she could say was I told you God told me!

i knew i was pregnant with my second! I just had a feeling...my mom told me I was this time and I didnt believe her it was the farthest thing from my mind and I thought she was crazy! LOL go figure

I knew I was PG before I took the test. I don't know how I knew, but there was no doubt in my mind. Maybe I was paying close attention to the signs and symptoms? All I know is that I just 'knew' really early on, and it STILL took 4 pregnancy tests for me to actually believe it! We conceived on the first try, and I was told by my doc that I'd have fertility issues.

Yes, my sister had a dream I was pregnant in Feb and it was going to be a boy... I didn't know yet but I was pregnant.  My Sis-in-law also texted me yesterday and said she had a dream I was pregnant... very weird!

My friend knew almost before I did.  We had lunch the Saturday I got my BFP and she was acting weird.  Monday morning I had an email saying she knew and was "mad" I didn't tell her.  I couldn't believe her intuition! DH calls us soul mates because we are weirdly connected   It was nice to have someone know so early!

DH's grandmother who lives in Belgium called MIL and asked her if I was pregnant and it was out of nowhere! Sure enough I was but I have thought that was so weird that she just knew!

Yes! My HS best friend who I'm no longer very close to text me a few days after I found out and said "you're pregnant aren't you? I just got this feeling."! It was crazy!

My mom sent me a text when we were ttc (not knowing we were ttc) that said "are you guys trying for an 11/11/11 baby?". It really took me by surprise and I never thought wed get PG that cycle. Im so excited to tell her we are pg! Even thoguh thats not our edd, its pretty dang close!

My mom did and I think my grandma did.  My grandma went from healthy to having cancer that had spread everywhere and was literally given days to live.  We got our BFP two days after she passed and on what would have been her and my grandfathers 53rd anniversary. 

When we were at my grandmas house spending time with her my mom told me that my boobs were growing, the day of the funeral she said I may be imagining things but you look like you have a baby belly (literally 2 days after our BFP)

I was sad that I had not gotten to share the news with my grandma, she had been a great support through our m/c and was one of my best friends.  But I had a very comforting dream about her and when I told my grandpa he kind of chuckled and told me that she knew all along that I was pregnant.  She had given him instructions on upcoming events that she knew she would miss, a few of them were made public (Dont forget Evies birthday, every year all the grandkids get a gift from FL, this is what I buy for baby showers) but some he wouldnt share with us because she had such an intuition about her in those final days.  His reaction gave me the impression that she told him what to do and how to react when we got pregant considering we miscarried and they were there too many years ago.

I knew the day I conceived with the first pregnancy, nothing with this one though.

I definitly believe in the power of prayer.  My husband and I had decided to start trying but he was hesitant and so we weren't exactly making great efforts to try.  I knew this amazing man of God and he was fighting cancer and not doing so well.  Every night they had a devotion and one night I was there and after the devotion he was asked to pray for me because the doctor had found a lump on my thyroid.  This man didn't know that I was ttc or that doctors had said it could be a long hard journey, but by the end of the prayer it was like God was talking to me through him and he told me that I would be pregnant and not to be surprised in 9 months when I had a baby.  Well I believed it would happen but was not expecting it to be so soon.  This man died just a few short weeks later, they laid him to rest on Monday and on Friday I had a positive pregnancy test.

This for me too. My best friend had a dream I was pregnant, and she texted me. I wrote back "Haha, not pregnant yet!" but I got my BFP that same cycle. Weird!!!

WOW!  I love these stories!

My SIL had a dream I was pg about 3 wks before my BFP, and my hair stylist (and friend) said she knew as soon as I walked in the door the day we told her!

BUT the coolest story is about my mom when she was pg w/ my sister.  My grandmother was on her death bed (literally hours before her death) and she asked my aunt to tell her about her family.  So my aunt went through all her children and her children's children.  When she was telling her about my mom and us, my grandmother kept saying, "what about the baby?"  My aunt kept insisting that there was no baby, but my grandmother wouldn't let it go.  Anyway, maybe like a week later (after Grandma's death), my mom found out that she was pg w my sister!  My grandmother KNEW!

I have told very few ppl we were even going to try this year, and in-fact, we wern't yet trying when I got pregnant (natural family planning isn't as full proof as they make it out to be.)  I had a friend call me the day after I got my BFP and we were in the middle of chatting and she interupted me and asked, ARE YOU PREGNANT?  She was not one of the ppl who knew we were even thinking about trying later this year.  I asked her why she would ask me that and she started saying "you are, you are!"  I finally admitted to it and she said she just had a feeling.  I thought that was so bizarre.

I had two dreams right before and they were both of "my" baby boy.

One was right after my HSG when I was mentally preparing myself to go into fertility treatments. I felt like it was so cruel at the time but I ovulated 2 days later and now I am pregnant!

My mom told me a couple days before I got my BFP that SOMEONE was pregnant. Meaning either me or my SIL.  After I told her she kept having dreams and cravings and we found out a few days later SIL is preg. too!  We are both due the same day:)

It's been so fun reading everyone's stories!   

I had a really strong feeling that I was pregnant what turned out to be just a few days after it happened.  After waiting to take the home pregnancy test it was more like a confirmation than a surprise.  The strange part is that also a few days after it probably happened one of my best friends called to say hello and flat out asked me if I was pregnant!  She said she had a strong intuition about it.  At the time I played it off but am really looking forward to a few weeks when I can tell her!

i haven't told anyone yet but i visited my brother and his family this past weekend.  My SIL would not stop asking me if I was pregnant and then she said she had a dream that I was pregnant.  I might have to go to her for some psychic readings.
