Baby Shower Outfit

I need your ladies advice on the outfit that I bought for the shower. The dress is simple, white, and flowy... I figured it would be super comfortable and it will lay nicely over my bump. I will be wearing a cropped cardigan over the dress. I don't like how bloated my upper body looks so I'm definitely NOT wearing the dress by itself.

Also, the theme of the shower is light blue, green, and Froggy Prince (my sister's idea). Oh yeah... What shoes would you suggest that I wear? Simple, plain flip flops or something more along the lines of a fun sandal? TIA!

    awe- i love that outfit. I agree that it will make a great sillouette over your bump :) I have a similar dress that I wear to my office that is amazingly comfortable. For shoes, I'd say go with a nice pair of strappy sandals. Is your shower outside where you'll keep footwear on the whole time? then I'd make it a pair that you're more comfortable in.

     BTW- My shower is this weekend and I'm sooo jealous you have such warm weather. I live in Toronto, Ontario and I will be wearing a jacket over my pants and long sleeved shirt :(

    Wedges would be cute with it if you're up for them, or strappy gold or silver sandals would work as well.

    Thanks for the advice girls. I was thinking about strapy gold or silver sandals. They have some cute ones at Old Navy. I'll be leaving my shoes on the whole time. The shower is at a log cabin in the small town my mom and dad live in. Old Navy's sandals tend to be comfortable... In my opinion. Awesome... Time to do some shopping after work... Hehehe.

    Eeeks, now I'm hoping the dress isn't too see through. I bought some seamless panties from VS in the nude color and I bought a strapless bra in the nude color as well. Hope it doesn't show too much of my chunky thighs and butt!! I ordered the dress yesterday and it should arrive Monday. Praying that it's not super see through.
