for years now i have said "if i have another girl, i'll name her audrey harlow"
in the last season of teen mom, one of the girls named her daughter aubrey...i screwed up the first time and didn't look into popularity and named my daughter ava (thank god her middle name is different--ava novelle)...anywho, i'm concerned about aubrey becoming popular, thus making audrey popular. does anyone see the popularity rising in these names?
also, harlow...i've gotten a lot of "that's a boy's name" or just straight up strange looks. i think harlow could go either way, but it bothers me that people would think of a boy, not so much that people hate it.
am i crazy?? ...maybe it's the hormones.
i hope i just have a boy! haha

i think audrey harlow is a lovely name. [:
i don't think you should worry about audrey becoming too popular. i don't know anyone child or adult with the name (except of course aubree from teen mom 2).
Audrey became a top 100 name in 2002 and has been in the 40s on the SSA chart for the past 2 years.
Aubrey has an even sharper tend line ? it broke into the top 100 in 2005 and has also been in the 40s for two years.
If popularity is a concern to you, you should spend some time looking at the SSA popularity charts. You can even get them for your own state, as popularity varies by region.

My DH and I have wanted to name our daughter (when we got pregnant) Aubrey for years. Now that we are having a daughter we decided against it because of its popularity.
