Gross! Hairy surprise

Tonight DH asked me if he could say hi to the jellybean.  So I lift up my shirt to he can talk to the belly...and all of a sudden I notice i have thin dark hairs all over my stomach   I've never noticed hair there before, so this alone is enough to make me freak out a little...but then DH points out that I have three long, thick, gross hair growing out of my BELLYBUTTON! EW!

Now, I have always been a little sensitive about the bellybutton...I won't let DH touch it, and it just generally grosses me out for some reason.  But this new development sent me into a serious tizzy, tears and all.  I plucked them immediately. I know I'm overreacting, but...just...ew.

Oh, the joys of pregnancy. So, I guess bleach or Nair is out....wonder if I should wax the belly hair?  That sounds painful. Anyone else seeing this yet?

OMG me too!!!  Just the other day...  I plucked like 3 big ones near my belly button and I totally have the thin dark ones everywhere.  Weird!

Don't shave them!  Thats for sure.  I did that a few years ago because my belly hair is out of hand on a regular day.  I shaved the long ones up the center and I have had some black hairs there (I'm blonde) ever since.  I just pluck out he offenders now and it takes them longer to come back.  I wish I had never shaved the blonde off in the first place.  I think I was the only one that noticed back then.

I needed this tip of no shaving years ago...made that same mistake! Why does no one tell you things like this???!!! LOL

I feel the same way... it was totally a surprise to see hair on my belly! I hope it ges away after?!
